Liverpool Masonic Hall Remembrance Service
7th Novemebr 2025

Liverpool Masonic Hall is one of the few Masonic Halls in the County to have its own War Memorial. The War Memorial is set at the end of the main corridor leading to the lodge rooms and means every Mason has to walk to and past this tribute to the ‘Fallen’ before attending their meeting.

It is tradition that the Armistice Day Service is held on the Friday before Remembrance Sunday, and this allows Brethren to attend their local community Remembrance Services. People started gathering for the service from 10.15 and soon there was a good turnout for the service.
The Main Corridor
The Liverpool Group Chairman WBro Dave Johnson; PAGDC, (who is a member of Corinthian Mark Lodge), welcomed everyone before handing over to Rev Bro John Williams to conduct the service. Rev Bro John Williams asked everyone  not only to remember all those who gave their lives in the two world wars but also those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in other conflicts around the world since.
A Tribute
At 11.00 the Two Minute Silence was observed. Everyone stood in self reflexion, lost in their own thoughts and prayers, but all with one common purpose, to give thanks to those who gave their future to preserve ours. After the silence and prayers and the blessing the wreaths were laid.
Lest We Forget

WBro Derek Gaskell laid the wreath on behalf of The Mark Province of West Lancashire. After the service it was time for refreshments.
